FIRST WEEK REFLECTION AT SCHOOL

As per the BEd curriculum we have a teaching practice on the fourth semester of our course and our teaching practice started on 14 th June 2023. We had already collected our portions prior to the starting day. I was send to G.H.S.S Palayamkunnu for my practice so I felt really happy because there was my first teaching practice. All the teachers have given us a warm welcome. On the first there was the school assembly. Former HM got transferred and a new teacher has joined. She has made some changes in the school. School assembly was a bit longer. They have taken oath for the eradication of dengue fever. Each class has given duties for assembly.  They have taken the oath, presented quotes of the day and also read daily news. After that we had went to the optional teachers and assigned class timetable.  

REFLECTION ON CLASS

I got my class on 8E and I haven't done much preparation for the class. So it was really not well. I couldn't transfer the concept thoroughly to the students. During the class I tried to change my teaching pattern but it wasn't successful. On the first week itself our optional teacher came for observation and I haven't performed well in my class. I have  taken class on the topic Bohr atom model but the class has ended before the scheduled time. It was the major draw back of my class and teacher asked me to improve my classroom management and assessment of students.
